Bill C-206: A National Strategy on Brain Injury Has Been Introduced

We’re excited to share that Gord Johns, MP Courtenay-Alberni introduced Bill C-206 – calling upon government to implement a national strategy on brain injury – in the House of Commons on June 10, 2025.

The former Bill C-277 died on the order paper when the election was called; therefore, Bill C-206 reintroduces this important initiative to the House. This is a critical step forward in addressing the fragmented systems of care that continue to fail survivors of brain injury and their families across Canada.
